The Town of Chupa

Welcome to Chupa high in the Andes Mountains some 13,000 feet in elevation and home of the Puno Quechua Indians. Bethlehem Baptist Church adopted this unreached people group in 2004. Since then we have seen many come to accept Jesus as their savior. We are currently working with five churches in Chupa and the surrounding villages to disciple these new believers and train leaders. Our work in Chupa has been guided by IMB missionaries, and REAP South Coordinators, Mike and Kathy Weaver, with the help of missionaries Arnold and Susie Austin.

Lidman in Juliaca

Lidman lives in Lima but travels with us to Chupa when we go. He is invaluable to us in our effort to reach the Puno Quechua Indians. Lidman is in the United States for the next few months. If you would like for Lidman to speak at your church about the possibility of partnering with us in reaching Chupa please contact Joe Burnett at the church.
